	Thatched tropical villa living of teak and sandstone spilling onto private beaches, gardens and waters marks a seamless blend between Maldivian craftsmanship and nature. Set on an intimate coral island not too far from Male, the resort requires little effort to get to or get use to. The benchmark is set with chilled champagne on arrival, evening canapés and continues with routine champagne for breakfasts, and not a buffet nor queue in sight. It’s not all about eating and drinking though, do meet the resident marine turtles, the flightless dodo bird and explore the house reef, but don’t expect to meet anyone younger than 8 years here

Diving	Just a 30 metres from the beach the 300m long house reef slopes gently down to 20m where large coral outcrops with a variety of marine life can be found. In a depth of 16m lies a wreck that often hosts nurse sharks, rays and very large groupers. The house reef is a nursery ground for black-tip sharks and therefore an everyday seen habitant. Hawksbill turtles are regularly sighted in shallower depths. Among them are some of the Maldives’ best-known dive sites and six Marine Protected Areas such as; Nasimo Thilla: One of the most spectacular dives with its long series of caves, crevices and overhangs, packed with wonderful blue and orange hanging soft corals. Manta Point: Two Manta points allow a year round possibility of Manta sighting. Rameez Place: This reef was discovered by Divers Baros Maldives and is still exclusive to the island. There is a good chance to see grey reef, white tip sharks, stingrays, eagle rays, giant napoleons wrasses and tunas. Banana Reef: This site is a Marine Protected Area. The “Banana” is a huge overhanging cave. Some rocks have broken away from the main reef, creating a series of gullies where you can see big schools of oriental sweetlips, red snapper and fusiliers. The reef is home to literally thousands of red tooted triggerfish
